Major Update!

It has been a while that i made an update on my blog so I'm going  to show a lot of things that I made!

This  is the cover of my Pitchbook. I hope I did a good job because I had some struggle with this one.

These are my Squirrel side characters, they bully the main character (the one on the cover)

These are the bever side characters (family of Boris, one of the main characters)

This is the setting of the cliff with the big oak.

This is the setting of the inside of the oak where the squirrels keep theyre nuts.

These are my props.

I hope you like it! I did my very best to make it look good. It was my first time that I made something like this.

New work

Hello it's me again,

I would like you to show something that I made today on school,
our assignment was to create a creature, you also needed to see that there was a store behind.
My idea was to make a leopard-like-animal (green) that attracks bugs to eat with his tail at night.
The tail lights up when it gets dark.

We are busy with a lot of other assignments,
especially to excersice the skills of composition, light and shades.

I'm back with a first sneak peak of my project..

Update!

Now i was working on the characters and settings of my work for my education.
I made turnarounds, action sheet.. but these are all just sketches.
Some day i will upload these sketches so you can follow my work.
I enjoy it!

My name is Jill and i live in Belgium.
I love to draw, i did it as a hobby when i was younger, but now i'm planning on making it my profession.
That's why i study to become a Concept Artist at Syntra, in Hasselt.
It's a great education with a lot of variety in it.
We work alot with programs like photoshop and illustrator, but we still use the old fashion paper and pencils.
The target group I wanted to draw for, are children. I worked with children before and that's why i want to go further into that, and illustrate children's books.
As an assignment for school, i'm working on my essay.
I'm gonna do a story for children in co-operation with my teacher.
